Doctor of Medicine

Mapúa School of Medicine collaborates with Arizona State University to offer an innovative and integrated Doctor of Medicine (MD) course aimed to produce highly-competent and compassionate physicians equipped to meet the evolving needs of Filipino patients and populations in the 21st century.

The essential competencies (knowledge, skills and attitudes) of a primary care physician will be developed utilizing advanced and immersive facilities designed to support active and experiential learning. Partnerships with hospitals, facilities, and communities will provide opportunities for hands-on clinical exposure. From clinical simulation to internships and service-learning, students will develop essential skills, gain empathy, and understand the social determinants of health.
