Qualified takers of the E.T. Yuchengco Scholarship Exam
- Mapúa SHS student with a Semestral Weighted Average of 85% and above and no grade lower than 85% in any subject
- Freshman applicant who scored at least 80% in the Mapúa Program Placement Assessment (MPASS)
Grantee
- Top scorers of the scholarship exam and interview
Responsibilities of the grantees
- Maintain a QWA of at least 2.50 or higher every term
- Maintain a cumulative GWA of 2.00 or better every end of the academic year
- No grades below 3.00 (including PE and NSTP)
- Must finish the program within the prescribed number of terms
- E.T.Y. Scholars must have their scholarship validated every enrollment
Application process
- The freshman applicant must first take the MPASS and get a score of at least 80%.
- The applicant will be invited by the scholarship office for a scholarship exam should their score be at least 80%.
- For Mapua SHS students, those with a Semestral Weighted Average of 85% and above, and no grade lower than 85% in any subject will be invited for the scholarship exam.
- The top scorers of the scholarship exam will be invited for an interview.
- The top scorers in the interview and the examination will be the final grantees of the E.T. Yuchengco Scholarship.
