Benchmarking Activity

The delegates from University of Nueva Caceres (UNC) conducted the benchmarking activity at Mapúa University – Intramuros Campus. This was held in the Main Building, View deck Room, last April 29, 2025. Engr. Cesar C. Coronado, Director of the Office of Planning and Quality Management (OPQM), introduced his staff, beginning with Ms. Lauren Bolata, QA and Academic Accreditation Supervisor; Mr. Emil Renfred A. Rendon, Institutional Planning Specialist; Ms. Necifora R. Reta, Document Information Coordinator; Ms. Evelyn O. Conde, Technical Assistant; Dr. Josephine D. German, Director of the OPQM–International Rankings Management Office; and Ms. Anna DG. Binayug, International Ranking Specialist.
Following the introduction of his staff by Engr. Cesar C. Coronado, the UNC team was then introduced, led by Mr. Romeo M. Sumayo, Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA). He was joined by Ms. Divinagracia L. David, Assistant Vice President for Human Resources; Mr. Butch O. Saulon, Executive Director of Planning and Quality Management (PQM); Mr. Romeo C. Layones, Assistant Dean of Science, Technology, and Engineering (STE); Ms. Joy Gaza, Program Head for MAEd; Ms. Florabel Nieva, Program Head for BA; Ms. Penafrancia Zaens, Program Head for MBA; Ms. Malou Archivido, Assistant Dean; Ms. Shane Tesoro, PQA Specialist; Ms. Christine Bautista, Vice President for Research, Extension, and Linkages (VPREL); and Mr. Christian R. Encila, Grounds and Building Superintendent.
Engr. Cesar C. Coronado, Director of the Office of Planning and Quality Management (OPQM), presided over the activity, where he discussed the process of preparing the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) for ASEAN University Network – Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) and led a facility tour covering laboratories and servicing departments.
