Academic Roadmap for Students at Mapúa

At Mapúa, the Senior High School curriculum is structured to gradually transition students from broad foundational learning to specialized preparation for college:

Grade 11: Each semester, students take six Core Courses that are common to all strands. These provide essential knowledge and skills across general education. Alongside these, students choose two Electives tailored to their selected academic pathway, allowing them to begin exploring areas aligned with their future degree.

Grade 12: By this stage, the curriculum is fully specialized. All courses are Electives, meaning every subject is directly connected to the student’s chosen pathway. This ensures that the entire year is focused on building expertise and readiness for college programs.

Mapúa’s Commitment to Excellence

With these enhanced pathways, Mapúa Senior High School is not only complying with DepEd’s strengthened curriculum but also setting a new benchmark in academic innovation. By aligning education with industry and higher learning, the University ensures its students are future-ready and competitive in this rapidly-changing world.
