Description
The Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines – Mapua University Student Chapter (IECEP-MUSC) is the sole accredited student organization exclusive for Electronics Engineering (ECE) students of Mapua University that fosters fellowship and excellence among ECE students both inside the University and with other students of the recognized chapter, and uplift the honor and prestige of the organization through its initiated, sponsored, and/or partnered activities to the Manila Student Chapter, our Mother Chapter.
Founded on July 24, 1986, the organization has only two official members, no official tambayan, and no official set of officers. A total of 36 dedicated officers will lead the organization every tenure, with two tenures to be established in one academic year. The organization has six main committees where members and applicants will choose every tenure based on their chosen interests: Academics Committee, Newsletter Committee, Project Committee, Public Relations Committee, Sports Committee, and Technical Committee. These committees work collaboratively together with the elected and assigned officers for a united and stronger organization.
Every tenure, the organization conducted committee weeks based on their functions and responsibilities in pursuit for the complete and well-development of every members and applicants of the organization.
Mission
- IECEP-MUSC shall foster fellowship among Electronics engineering students both inside the University and with other students of the recognized chapter.
- IECEP-MUSC shall contribute to the physical, intellectual, and social development of each member.
- IECEP-MUSC shall keep ECE students informed with the latest trends and changes in the field of Electronics Engineering.
- IECEP-MUSC shall uplift the honor and prestige of the mother chapter, through various activities, sponsored, an initiated and participated by the organization.
Vision
IECEP-MUSC shall be a distinguished organization of Electronics Engineering students of Mapúa University and of its Mother Chapter by developing and nurturing competent, virtuous, productive and well-rounded Electronics Engineering students of the University.
